In A Dream

Due to unseen circumstances, my life was turned round and returned back to the bases. I landed in Ghana on the 17th of October, 2009.

I have been here just a week and I already miss London. I miss my friends and siblings and trains. The heat reminds me of my love for cold. But as you know, I am like grass, I am everywhere.

To me, it is a dream, a hot and familiar dream. i am back in Ghana to study. Visual communication is the name, University is the game. Already I know which side I am on. With their gigantic english words that make them feel more learned than anybody else, talking down their noses to people like they are better than them, I'm back again. They will not know what hit them LOL.

On the 19th of October, I was at the uni and 2 hours late for lectures as usual. I joined the class for a few minutes to see how it was and what they were studying. Economics!!!! The hell??! Any ways, I met a friend I had in Primary school about 8 years ago, same class! United after all those years lol.

He has been my first guide through the city and in turn I will be ur guide through this city of mine, so you see Ghana through my eyes. Believe me this is just the beginning, A hot beginning.

Miss Me?

Wow, It's been Long. Well let me give u load down of what happened. I wanted to play a song on my computer, so I pushed the 'On' switch on the computer. It started as normal I looked away. Next this I know, the computer has died and there was smoke coming out. I was like 'What gives?'. But now I have it back! YES! YES! *does the victory dance* Let ChickenNoodle commence!!!

Monday's rain

My little sister went to the corner shop to get us something to eat. it was sunny when she left so she went in a t-shirt and jeans. Not even 2 minutes after, I heard the thunder and the strongest rain I have seen in London. She comes home drenched from head to toe lol. She was like 'I wish it rains so my school floods so I don't have to go in and do my exams' and we laughed about it. Tuesday I went to work and since I was the first there, I opened up. Didn't realise till after 5mins or so that the ofice was flooded. I guess my little sister's wish came true but at the wrong place lol. We had to move our stations of work to a temporary place which was so much work. To top it all off, my hard drive broke so I have lost some work and have to get a new hard drive and start all over. But all in all, I think all that change was need and the rain came to push us toward that all needed CHANGE!

ARGH

I am up to my neck in decisions.
I know what I want and i know I have been reluctant but why is everyone deciding my life for me now? I hate the fact that I am not allowed to say something and it being accepted. When my mind is set on something, that is what I go for. I feel suffocated when I'm being told what I should like or what I should for after. I KNOW WHAT I WANT! I KNOW WHAT I WANT SO LEAVE ME ALONE TO GO AFTER IT!!!!!!!!

I Need A New Job

I vowed to myself not to be one of those young adults that are jobless and have to ask mum and dad for money to live their sad lives. I was jobless for 6 month in which I watched as many films and dramas as I can because I was bored, stressed and close to depression. The system has failed me who needed it more than others (a grudge I am learning to let go of lol). Wierdly, I feel old and not at the place I want to be in life. It is a tormenting feeling but I seem to like it. I have always approached life laid back and still do and this feeling is pushing me to be more assertive. My heart breaks everytime I reflect on my life because this feeling tells me I can do better. I have realised that I should be breaking doors down to get where I'm meant to be not knocking. It is teaching me not to laugh at my ideas because people that started revolutions were laughed at. It is also teaching me to learn to accept myself and pursue to make myself better. It is teaching me that I reap only just what I have sown. So I got off my lazy self and went to get myself a job which I am comfortable with even though I don't make much out of. I enjoy what I do and so I am relaxing. That was when I started feeling olod and underacheiving. I don't want to be stuck in a job I will get bored of. my dream is not to work there my whole life and my dreams seems to be getting further from me. And I need more money so I need a new job! Back to the drawing board and this time lets reach Higher! Gambatte! Jia You! Fighting!

The woman I met

Leave 2ne1 Alone!

Over and over again, I read that Netizens are criticising 2ne1 on their looks and the Space version of their music video 'Fire'. Creativity is recycled and it is hard to come by originality! when someone is original they are called 'wierd' or 'freaks'. She added her own flavour to it and everything thing is not completely the same. M.I.A probaly got the idea from 'The Lady with a 1000 hands' so she ain't original either. So I think Netizens should let that MV be or criticise M.I.A too. Got nothing against M.I.A, just telling it as it is. Numerous performers have used that act before. M.I.A had multi-coloured robot things in her background, 2ne1 uses green. At least they changed it up a bit! As for the Park Bom's face, I believe that is Netizens are wrong! It is all the magic of make-up and lighting. I think that she has had nothing done because she looks the same, except for the different make-up and lighting. She is what I would class as 'Chameleon face', it is easy to transform her face with make up. Let me break it down;

The left picture shows Bommie without much make-up, her features are not defined due to how palee she looks. When a tan and make up is applied, her features are defined so we see how big her eyes are. At the angle she is posing on the right, we see how pointy her nose is and the lighting picks that out.

Even if it is surgery, what is the big deal. Who hasn't had surgery in this day and age? Thanks to 'media beauty standards' and people in general, wanna-be stars with talent have to go through that extreme length to beautify themselve in order to show their talent. Maybe she is one of them, what you gonna do about that?! She is good at what she does and We like 2ne1, so people LET HER BREATH!!!!

The lady with the poker facer just revealed that even though she has a boyfriend, she is attracted to women. Stefani Joanne Germanotta, which is her real name (I think she has a nice name), says she is disappointed by the way her boyfriend behave when she told him. "The fact that I'm into women, they're all intimidated by it," she says. "It makes them uncomfortable. They're like 'I don't need to have a threesome. I'm happy with just you'."
I'm a fan of hers and I still like her. I think her style is unique (She seems to hate wearing any kind of clothing that covers her lower half lol) and her music is good. i had 'Just Dance' in my head for months!!! I doubt we will get another Lindsay Lohan lol. Her boyfriend sounds really shocked but if worst comes to worst she says she doesn't mind being single. "My music's not going to wake up tomorrow morning and tell me it doesn't love me any more," she says. "So I'm content with my solitude. I'm okay with being alone. I choose to have someone in my life when I can."

Masked 'Friends'

Like it is not hard enough to make friends, considering the fact that we live in a world where you can't trust anybody. We live our lives being thought to love ourselves and no-one else. If you are not pretty or rich, you don't make friends (If you call people drawn to money as friends) that easily. Even being nice does not cut it these days because people will take advantage of you.

Putting all that aside, you go out meet someone you share something in common with, who is there for you. You spend time with them and as you go through life together and you get comfortable with them, you have become friends. I know how much friends mean to me so I value my friends. Friendship is when you argue, get angry at each other and start talking a minute later, hahaha Noodle. "Friends are God's way of making up for the families we have". Friends help take the burden when parents can't.

Suddenly, you are in pain...the person you have told your heart to and depend on turns on you. All kinds of things happen, ditching friends, backbiting, stabbing in the back, even thinking you are not cool enough to be introduced as their friend. The heck, everyone has been through one of this or even more. When I went through it, I cried and felt broken-hearted. I think I will find it easier breaking up with a guy than a friend so I forgave, though I can't forget. I laugh over it though, Life is too long and short for me to take it seriously.

You think that is bad enough till you meet manipulative friends. People who fake themselves into you Life and trusting and just use you. They normally use your 'friendship' for money and company when they need you. What does my head in is when they do something bad and throw the blame at you. Like Your life is not full of issues already. They are quick to point out the wrongs about you and make you feel like you are not worth it.

It is their insecurities that causes them to pick at others and make you feel bad so they look good. Blaming their wrongdoings on people is what gets me. No good friend will force a decision on someone so why would you do something and blame it on others. Even if they adviced you, they didn't force you to make that decision. How dare anybody blame someone else for their own mistakes. Friends don't harm themselves and blame it on you because they are having a hard time and you weren't there.

The way I see it I either stop here or I will just get ofensive. Friends are people we rely on so if you don't want that burden, don't lead people on just to use them. In my eyes people like that are evil!

Today Noodle comes back home to London. After all the hassle of education and undigested 'friends'. Well let us leave the past behind and have a fabulous summer!

Can You Read My face?

I read an article today on msn, you know the pop-up that comes when you sign into msn? This article was about face reading. Like example, you meet someone and you know even without speaking with the person, you know that you won't get on well or you know then that the person will be bossy or annoying (in Raj's case you just want to punch and or slap him in the face lol).

Well the features analyst by the name Jean Haner, believes that everyone carries their personality in their faces. This is a practice she calls Chinese face reading which comes from an 'ancient Eastern in which doctors would examine facial characteristics to diagnose health problems. Rosacea, for example (where small broken capillaries appear on the face), can reveal a love of spicy food, wine or sunshine. Dark circles under the eyes are tell-tale signs of a stressful lifestyle where someone is not getting enough sleep.'

Interesting eh? She gives some examples like “Strong eyebrows and a sharp jawline can mean you’re practical and efficient, whereas a large full mouth can mean you’re nurturing.
"People with large pointed noses pay greater attention to detail, while a deep set philtrum [the line between your nose and lips} is a sign of fertility." Fertility? Is that a personality???

Jean then goes on to analyse some celeb faces;

Jean says 'Cheryl has sparkly bright eyes and dimples, which indicates a tendency towards the spotlight or working with people. I find this article very interesting because it is something that everyone tries to do. We see someone and try to read their face to see if we will get along, we now it is an art and profession lol. Do not know whether it is possible to read someone's personality on their face but I think an environment and someone's name can shape their personality but not their face. But you will never know lol

Soulja Boy tell 'em ....WHAT?

Talk about bad role models lol. So like I was told about this and I was like 'what an idiot'. Then I read it for myself and thought 'WHAT AN IDIOT!' You must be wondering what I'm talking about and to my surprise, I thought I would never be sitting here talking about Soulja boy.

Do those shades irritate me or what? Anyways, so I was reading this article that was talking about the audio polution this 18 year old has been releasing into the air. I mean all that 'superman that ho' and the 'supersoak that ho' crap. For innocent people (like me) who don't know what these mean, these terms describe things you wouldn't do outside the bedroom lol. And very demeaning to women so women with dignity, Stop singing those lines!

To top this all up, Soulja boy has proven that maturity and intelligence does not come with money or stardom. He showed his level of intelligence when he was asked, “What historical figure do you most hate?” He was stumped. So the interviewer asked added this to make his life easier, "Others have said Hitler, bin Laden, the slave masters..."

And guess what he said.

Ok you will never guess so here. He said "Oh wait! Hold up! Shout out to the slave masters! Without them we'd still be in Africa." At that point I was like 'HUH? Is Africa that bad that people would rather go through slavery to get out?'

I would have been offended if I hadn't read on. It was afterwards that I realised he is very ignorant and ignorance IS bliss. He, not knowing when to stop went on to say "We wouldn't be here to get this ice and tattoos."

Wow! Someone should tell him where the 'ice' on his chain came from. And maybe explain why it is called 'Blood Diamonds'. Kanye, I'm guessing not everyone understood your song!

Making a special post for Tae yang from big bang as it is his bday today! I know its sad that I am also a fan girl!! His blesses us with good music, good dance and a good view( hot bod) . With that beautiful smile and smooth dance moves that every girl can't help but fall for, especially Noodle (Chicken loves you too). Greatness plus greatness equals great greatness

Today I came across this video of 11 year old Aidan Davis on Britain's got  talent. If you've herd or America's got talent then its pretty much the same thing but is the UK version.

At the beginning of the video I thought that it was just going to be another overrated dance act on the show as I was yet to be impressed by any other dance act but as I continued watching I was shocked at the fact someone so young had so much technique, skills and rhythm.

A judge made a comment saying he is just as good as George Samson last years winner but based on my opinion this little guy beats him hands down!

EuroVision? Yeah OK Then...

EuroVision for those who do not know is like when all the european countries come together and compete vocally to see who is the best and talented. And obviously somewhere along the line, they seem to have forgotten what talent is.

Anyways this year UK actually did well! Jade Ewen competed for UK and I must say she is pretty (Raj likes her) and vocally talented. I wasn't so much for the song she sang but she wasn't bad at all. She performed with Andrew Llyod Webber (behind the piano) and it was an alright performers.

Unlike last year when UK was like 3rd from the bottom (correct me if I am wrong), this year we were fifth. I think UK'ers should be proud lol. Unfortunately we lost to Norway's Alexander Rybak with his 'Fairytale' (and his fobbish English). Wow, that song SUCKS!!! I won't put you though the torture of posting the video here so you can watch it. So disappointed in euroVision! If only you can see my face now!

A Rescue Story

What is the relationship between a rescuer and the person being rescued? I believe after someone has an accident and is saved, they tend to develop a new kind of relatiopnship with their rescuer. Not necessarily thanks and admiration but also the feeling of wanting to pay back.

Some rescues have been because it was the rescuers job i.e. police, firefighters etc. Some were because it is their loved one and they were ready to lay down their lives for their loved ones (unconditional love). Some were because of a good samaritan who could just not pass by and watch the suffering without doing something.

Now after being rescued surely the person being rescued does not just say thank u and walk off. Some people build relationships from casual friendship to going as far as marrying their rescuers. I think even if others disagree, that circumstances bring people together and as much as they may leave scars, both physical, mentally and emotionally, It can be a good thing.

This is an unbreakable bond brought by through an accident. It is a true story. A school bus taken students on a trip had an accident (how it did, I don't know). In it was a girl who was barely hurt but couldn't get out. A good samaritan passing by saw the girl and risked his life to save her. He hurt himself saving her with a cut to his forehead (or so I heard, but I know he was hurt). As he saved her, he bled unto her shirt. After saving her she asked how she could thank him and he said there is nothing he wants for what he did. And she asked if they could be friends and he said yes. She took of the bloody t-shirt and has kept is as it was as a token of her appreciation.

A bloody but touching story! Tell me you are not wiping a tear right now!

Scars To Be Proud Of

If anybody deserves the name 'Wonder Girl', I believe it has to be Sunye from Wonder Girls (for those that do not know). Chicken and Noodle are fans of WG and JYP lol. And I thought this is a story I have to talk about (because as you know chicken likes to talk).

As you can see The bruises are visible in this picture

SunYe got scarred on her leg after an accident while protecting SunMi. She had a torn knee and couldn't walk for a while. Well thank God, not only can she sing but she can walk and dance now. But the scar left behind has made SunYe hate her legs and wants to hide them.

I personally think that what she did is better than what any entertainer has ever don as far as I know. I have a renewed respect and admiration for her and think she should hold her scar proud because the story behind the scar makes it a beautiful scar. If you ever read this, Know that for that scar you are Respected and Admired!!Therefore I think it is fair that we crown her ChickenNoodle's Star Heroine!

Pho

It's four in the morning and I just can't get to sleep!! The only thing I can think about is Pho which is a very famous Vietnamese dish that is cooked differently depending on where you come from in Vietnam. Having been at uni for almost two months without visiting home (I know that doesn't sound that long) it's been a week since I've had this dying crave for it and I can not eat it till I go back home!! Just the thought of the deliciously brewed broth, white flat noodles, beef strips and chicken sends my mouth watering. Of course home cooked is the best but if you ever wanna try Vietnamese food I definitely recommend pho. For now I leave you with a picture I took from the net, next time I'll be sure to take the picture before I eat!!

As i was watching back some of big bangs older videos I came across this video. Wonder girls and big bang are known for performing together quite a few times. This video shows that the guys were fond of wondergirls before they actually met for the callaboration of last fare well and Tell me. Love for Jpop/Jrock too

So like so far we have like spoken about Kpop and you maybe wondering what else. Well there is Jpop. I personally do not enjoy jpop but i like jrock. Now my favourite band even tho they are not so jrock but still cool is KATTUN! oh yeah got to love 'em. They may not be the best at dancing...or singing but I still love them lol

Actually I heard of Utada Hikaru first and I think she is goooood. Never before have I heard such dicipline in a voice. Plus I think she invented her own genre of music. For those Who don't know she has done quite a few tracks for games. Most ppular game track is Santuary on the Kingdom of hearts 2 games. She debuted in America but I don't think she did well there plus the songs she released there weren't that great. My favourite song of hers has to be Simple and Clean.

Let's not forget Miyavi, Gackt, Hyde, L'arc~en~ciel, Alice Nine, Dir en grey and other cool bands too. But i find it had to find a real cool Japanese rock band with manly members. They seem to have this girliness to most of the members. I mean western rockers wear dresses and make is manly sometimes but no Jrock has successfully done that in my opinion.

Most Japanese Stars have feminine looks like and I aint complaining. I doubt westerner will actually accept that look here. But as I said I ain't complaining for the likes of Yamapi, Akanishi Jin and Hiro Mizushima lol.

Like Everywhere in the world, some of these bands have good music and others are a disease to the ear. They can't all be good but some need singing lessons seriously! or hearing aids whicch ever. My ears have not yet quite gone that far to listening to a lot of Jpop/Jrock but I will try and listen now. Just so I have something to say lol and I will say it as it IS!!

Korean entertainment companies

I was bored so I thought I would go on a little rant about korean entertainment companies. It occurred to me that most companies such as SM, JYP, YG etc can only manage one act at a time whilst they send the other act to breach into the American market or the Japanese market. I'll give an example from each entertainment company.

SM is known for debuting quite a lots of acts. Whilst they debut the newer acts like snsd and shinee the older acts such as CSJH the grace and DBSK are sent to Japan, although DBSK or Tohoshinki are doing pretty well in Japan I genuinely feel sorry for CSJH the grace. They are four very talented women with some of the best voices and talent in kpop, it seems they have been kicked to Japan left fighting for themselves with almost no promotion to make way for younger debuts. Even with super junior comeback they left it so long that some of the members came back unrecognizable or missing. Looks like those two act aren't exactly in father SM favourite book.

JYP isn't as bad as SM but I'm sure hoping that he won't put the Wondergirls with his other american debuts that who knows when will debut. As he is now focusing on 2pm I'm hoping he will bring the Wondergirls back to korea soon as I think if they do make it they would only be one hit wonders or laughing joke in America.

YG is another big company that although is not very good at promoting, is very good at spotting talent. They are another company that is not so good at managing their acts. Whilst they are currently promoting 2NE1, big bang is sent to Japan to be big whilst Seven is left on the streets of America jumping from club to club and advertising for verizon wireless, he should just swim it back to korea where he will actually get some love from his waiting fans!

It not that I have something against these new talents or the companies as I do enjoy their music but I just think they need better management!!

...Seriously 'cause I am. like for a while now I've got the munchies. I'm always hungry lol. I thought I would start a diet because I need to lose weight but...I failed. I like tried not to eat but what can I do when I am hungry!!

In Ghana when you start eating too much, they say you have worms and you have to go through detoxing lol Interesting eh? But I'm HUNGRY!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll go have some chicken noodles lol

Greetings my fellow earthlings!!

So today I was supposed to go watch the film fighting featuring Channing Tatum . You might recognise him from Step up. Well, things did not work out well as the tickets were sold out!! I've never had to go to the cinema where tickets were sold out. Bournemouth I tell ya, needs a bigger cinema with chairs that you won't have to pay more for cup holders!! Anyway this resulted on my encounter with the film star trek. Although hearing many good reviews of the film I was never an avid fan of the series so I was not expecting much, other than the couple sitting in front one with spiky hair and the other with a big head, I was pleasantly surprised that the story actually picked up after the first half an hour. The spaceship scenes reminded me games at the arcade, CGI wasn't amazing and nothing I haven't seen before but the mixture of humor, action and weirdness actually works well. For once in a film the asian dude (Jonh Cho) kicked butt, didn't die and wasn't the bad guy!!! I definitely recommend you check the film out if you haven't already!

Seo InYeong nose!

Oh Yes I did!

I just can't let it go. Remember I said I have nothing against plastic surgery because it's not my body so as long as they are happy? I'm now chewing my words with a lot of salt.

Branded the Witch from 'We Got Married', Seo InYeong till recently denied having surgery on her nose and I actually had no problem with that. It may have been pointy but it wasn't too hard to ignore.

Yeh sure she did kinda look a lot on the pinocchio side and the more she told the lie about her nose, it did get pointier. Truth be told she did work it. Plus we could have blinked and pretended there isn't a huge difference in her nose from when she was younger. As you can see from the Life and Past Times Of Seo In Yeong's nose;

But in search for beauty in this dark, dark world of ours, the 'new product' girl got lost and walked right into a wall and I am sad to say her nose took all the impact! I think all the oversized comments on her nose finally got to her so she tried to return her nose to how God intended it to be in the first place but failed.

Speechless from the sight of this new nose, I wasn't gonna say anything but I just couldn't help it. What the hell do you call this? What on earth do you call this look, huh? What is it gonna be next, Ronald McDonald's nose? Ok fine, it's your nose! I'll leave it there but please do something about it for us, 'cause yes it is your face but WE have to look at it. Please be considerate and think of us.

On a good note, I still like you and think you are cool (when we overlook your nose!) My advice to you in Dizzee Rascal's words, FIX UP AND LOOK SHARP!!!

Pete Dumps Katie...We So Didn't Expect That

(Note the sarcasm in the title)

There was a time we all said this wouldn't last but we were proven wrong. I personal thought the two were 'Insania' when the relationship started. So when they got married I thought it was definitely a stunt but not for 4 years.

When Peter cried at the wedding and Jordan kinda blanked out I thought that was the start of an interesting relationship. After two beautiful children I thought it was settled that the world would have to endure upcoming years of one-sided celebrity couple reality TV and bad couple songs.

Then this happened!!! I did watch the reality show and thought that Jordan was a bit harsh to Pete. I thought it was actually a one-sided love on Pete's side, no offence. He seems to try harder than she did! but I didn't think he would ever initiate a break-up.

I personally think Jordan was getting a bit verbally abusive, calling his stuff a 'walnut' and claiming she hasn't had sex in a year (ouch). Katie has been said to be feeling down about her 'duck' lips lately so I think she needed a way to take away that frustration out but constant partying which gets your hubby jealous aint the way, Katie.

Ok, so this the break-up was initiated after Pete saw pics of her with a gay friend. Pete, HE IS GAY!!!! I know you are hurt but please get back with Katie for the sake of the children. And yes I am ready to endure the reality TV Show and and even your Bad couple songs for a happy home. I think she is genuinely sorry so give her 1 more chance.

And if this is a publicity stunt then it aint funny 'cause there is a home at stake. I do hope they get back together again so people get ready for a 'back together debut song'.

The future

The Faker The Better!

So the societies we live in now are based on looks. If you don't look a certain way then you are not in. Some choose to care and go through all means changing themselves to look 'better' or changing themselves to look as the stereotypes classes as pretty. Some decide that the don't care and love themselves as they are and others just think they are not pretty and live life moping about it. Don't get me wrong I have through the stage of thinking I was ugly and not worth it and it took me a while to accept myself but tell me...

...What is beauty?!!! Oh don't worry, I will wait for the answer...

beauty is in the eye of the beholder so who is the beholder? He/she who sees, is the beholder so if you look in the mirror and think ugly...if the shoe fits lol. Who says who is pretty and who is not? Yes You!!

I know some people maybe saying the media but who listens to the media? Who discriminates at first sight? Who spends their whole like looking for 'perfection' when they don't even know what perfection is? YOU YOU YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

What does my head in and caused me to write this blog is that fact that when you go on some forums or some websites where people put up pictures, if you are not 'pretty', you never get comments lol. Forget good personality, forget about the fact that the person is being genuine so you get to know the real person instead of some photoshopped image!

Obviously I know some people are born looking extraordinarily good so this is not to offend them or call them fake 'cause obviously they are not fake plus we all seem to like good looking people but how about the 'not so extraordinarily good looking people' like are they human? Do we all not bleed red? Hell, we might as well all go ahead and make ourselves look 'pretty' then maybe we can all look the SAME!

Oh and when someone goes out of their way to get surgery people discriminate them like they are diseased but aren't we all seeking 'perfection'? shouldn't you be applauding the person who actually shed blood to look good? Not saying I am for or against surgery but I say 'if it makes you happy then go for it!' Not my place to judge what you do to your body so meh...

kpop

One of our big obsession is kpop from the cheesy pop music videos to the music that actually makes sense. Some we hate some we like.

Some decent singers nows days are being overshadowed by the cheesy repetitive songs that is currently the "thing" in kpop at the moment. I mean not to slag off people that do sing these types of songs as some do pull it off really well but the future of kpop sometime lies in the cutesy image or the sexy image to get attention.

If you listen to kpop music you would know kara. A girl band that started off with some strong vocals now relies on the cutesy image to attract attention I'm pretty much disappointed that the industry has come to this.

Another example is chae yeon her new music video is very disgraceful i was personally expecting more from her. In the video she has made herself look very cheap as she plays on "sexy" it's getting her the wrong attention!
