I sat next to a lady as we waited in the queue
Her hair tied back in a bun and a long black skirt
Her pink blouse and a nice pink bag to match
Her smile so bright, she was beautiful
She smiled at her man and those whe knew
And spoke only when she was spoken to
Her face lit up and she spoke, she was beautiful
But my word, she had a mono-brow
She wore it proud, her head held high
And didn't care what anybody thought
Did she know my thoughts as I looked at her
Because she never met my eye
As I thought on, I felt proud of her mono-brow
She had pride and elegance I wish I had
Did she care what people thought of her?
No! She didn't care at all
Because she was a traveller
